Payment Options
When placing a custom order there are a few important things you need to know. First, a valid credit card is required before a custom order is officially placed. This credit card is not immediately charged, but rather holds your place in line to have a custom order filled. A 50% non-refundable deposit is charged to the card the day work begins or specialty materials are ordered. The remaining balance is charged the day that all work is complete and the item is shipped. Additional fees such as Shipping and Sales Tax (where applicable) are applied to the final balance. Please contact us for any additional questions.

All orders that are paid with a cashier’s check must be paid in advance in order for the check to clear prior to the beginning of work.
Sorry we do not accept personal checks.
It is also important to know that there may be a waiting period to have certain orders filled. Rawhide, for example, is NOT bought from a supplier or manufacturer. Whit hand makes his own rawhide that he uses in his gear. Rawhide can only be made a few months out of the year to properly prepare and cure the hides for braiding. Because of a limited yearly supply, custom rawhide orders placed late in the year may be subject to a longer waiting period until a new rawhide supply can be made for next season. If you are thinking about Christmas gifts, you should place your order early and reserve your rawhide. Generally there are not restrictions on custom Kangaroo orders.
